The e-Bug programme works with organisations across Europe to design, implement and evaluate a range of resources to support children and young people to access the information they need on infection prevention and control, and antimicrobial resistance. SafeConsume

Who funds it: This project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 727580.

What is it: SafeConsume is a pan-European project to reduce the health burden from foodborne illness. UKHSA have led the work package to develop education materials for teenagers to promote behaviour change around food safety and hygiene.

TARGET

Who funds it: UK Health Security Agency

What is it: TARGET is a partner programme run by the same department as the e-Bug programme. TARGET - Treat Antibiotics Responsibly, Guidance, Education, and Tools - promotes antimicrobial stewardship among primary health care workers. Together, TARGET and e-Bug provide wrap-around messaging to the public to ensure we all use antimicrobials appropriately.
