In this section you will find peer education lesson plans on antibiotics.
The e-Bug peer education lessons are designed for young adults to deliver to their peers. The lesson and activities are adaptable and can be suitable for delivery to students 11 and up. The antibiotic activities focus around microbes, antibiotics, antibiotic resistance and practical advice on how to take antibiotics correctly. Vaccination activities coming soon!
Full instructions are provided for peer educators on how to deliver the lesson, although the educators should be encouraged to modify the lesson to suit themselves and their peers.
Information for teachers and other educators is also provided, including advice on how to run the lesson in schools and other educational establishments. Peer educators should be given time to prepare and to undertake the necessary background research before the lesson delivery.
